On 24 October 2026, Wellness Solutions Africa hosts Sole to Soil — a four-hour guided 10 km walk through Ngong Forest Sanctuary, one of Nairobi's most striking indigenous forest reserves. This is not a race. It is a guided movement education event in Eskuri Barefoot shoes, led by certified corrective movement coaches.
The walk includes foot activation sessions, breathing mechanics coaching, postural reset exercises at three stops along the route, and a tree-planting activity in partnership with the Ministry of Environment. Every participant leaves with a deeper understanding of how their feet — and the ground beneath them — shape the way their entire body moves.
What we are raising for
- Bursary spots for community members who cannot afford the registration fee
- Tree seedlings for Ngong Forest — donated per registered participant
- Movement coaching resources and materials distributed free on the day
- Event logistics, safety marshals, and trail marking
- Post-event educational materials: foot health guides and corrective exercise starter packs
Registration for the walk is KES 1,000. This fundraiser supports the costs that go beyond individual registrations — ensuring the event is a genuine community benefit, not just a paid experience.
Why this matters
Sole to Soil is about more than walking. It is about reclaiming how human bodies are meant to move — and making that experience accessible to everyone, regardless of income. Our KES 3,000,000 fundraising target covers bursary spots for community members who cannot afford the registration fee, tree seedlings donated to Ngong Forest through the Ministry of Environment, movement coaching resources and coaching hours along the route, event logistics and safety staffing, and post-event educational materials distributed free of charge. Every shilling raised extends the reach of natural movement education in Nairobi.
